Hire UEFN Verse developers
Game modes, devices and systems scripted in Verse by creators who ship UEFN islands. Get quotes, pay into escrow, release when it works.
Verse developers taking work
Filter, compare and hireWhat you can hire for
- Custom game modes: rounds, scoring, teams, win conditions
- Creative devices and Verse components you can drop into any island
- Economy, progression and persistence systems
- UI logic: HUD updates, menus, player prompts
- Bug fixing and refactoring of an existing Verse codebase
Get an accurate quote
Put these in your brief and the prices you get back will mean something.
- 1Describe the loop a player goes through, start to finish
- 2List the devices already on your island and what they do
- 3Say whether you need source you can edit, or just a working build
- 4Attach a clip or island code of something similar
How hiring works
- 1
Brief the job
Post a job for every creator to quote on, or ask one creator directly. Free, no card needed.
- 2
Agree a price
Compare quotes and counter, or name your own price with an offer. Nothing is charged yet.
- 3
Fund escrow
Once the creator accepts, you pay into escrow. The money is held — the creator can see it's there, but can't touch it.
- 4
Release on approval
Approve the delivery and the creator is paid. On staged jobs, fund and release one milestone at a time.
Common questions
- Do I get the Verse source code?
- Agree it in the brief. Most commissions deliver the .verse files so you can keep building; if the creator is licensing a reusable system instead, the contract says so before you pay.
- Can a Verse developer work inside my existing project?
- Yes. Say how you'll share the project (a UEFN team invite or an exported module) in your brief so the quote accounts for it.
- How does payment work?
- You pay into escrow when the creator accepts, not before. The money is held until you approve the delivery — or released stage by stage if you agreed milestones. If the work never arrives, a dispute goes to staff before any money moves.
