Question 1

What is UEFNMarketplace?

Accepted Answer

The marketplace built for Unreal Editor for Fortnite. Download and buy UEFN assets — Verse scripts, map templates, 3D models, VFX, textures, sound and UI kits — and hire UEFN developers, modelers and designers for custom work. Every listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live, and every commission is paid through escrow.

Question 2

How many free assets can I download?

Accepted Answer

Browsing is open to everyone; downloading needs a free account. Free accounts claim up to 7 assets a day, or 10 once you link Discord. Buyer Plus and every seller plan download with no daily cap.

Question 3

How do I buy an asset?

Accepted Answer

Checkout takes a minute and your files are ready the moment payment clears. 1. Open the asset and choose Add to Cart. 2. Review your cart and accept the license terms. 3. Pay securely through Stripe. 4. Download from Dashboard → Purchases.

Question 4

How do refunds work?

Accepted Answer

Request a refund within 14 days if an asset is significantly not as described, broken, or you were charged twice. The seller has 72 hours to refund you or reply in the case chat. If you can't agree — or the seller doesn't answer — our support team reviews the case and makes the final call. 1. Go to Dashboard → Purchases and choose Request refund on the order. 2. Say what's wrong and what would fix it: a full refund, part back, or a fix. 3. The seller responds within 72 hours, or the case goes to our team automatically.

Question 5

How do I hire a UEFN developer?

Accepted Answer

Two ways. Pick a creator yourself from the creators directory, or post a request and let creators come to you with quotes. Either way nothing is charged until you agree on terms, and your payment then sits in escrow until you approve the work. 1. Browse creators by specialty, open a profile and choose Hire. 2. Ask for a quote or send an offer (see the next question). 3. Or post a request to the open board and compare the quotes you get back. 4. Agree terms, fund escrow, and track everything in your commissions inbox.

Question 6

Should I ask for a quote or send an offer?

Accepted Answer

Ask for a quote when you don't know the going rate: describe the job and the creator names the price. You only pay if you accept their quote. Send an offer when you already know your budget: you name the price, the creator accepts or declines, and payment is held in escrow once they accept. Offers below a creator's stated minimum budget are rejected.

Question 7

How does escrow protect my money?

Accepted Answer

When a contract starts you pay into escrow held by the platform, not to the creator. The creator is only paid when you accept the delivery — or milestone by milestone, if the contract is split into stages. If something goes wrong, money still in escrow can be refunded through a dispute.

Question 8

What happens when the creator delivers?

Accepted Answer

You get three choices: accept and release the payment, request a revision (up to the number agreed in the contract), or raise a dispute. If you do nothing for 3 days after a delivery, it is treated as accepted and the payment is released, so creators are never left waiting on a buyer who went quiet.

Question 9

What if a commission goes wrong?

Accepted Answer

Raise a dispute from the contract page. Commission disputes go straight to our support team, who review the contract, the messages and the deliverables, then decide on a full refund, a partial refund or a release. If both of you agree to cancel before delivery, escrowed money goes back to you in full; if the creator stops responding and doesn't deliver, you can ask for a full refund of what is still in escrow.

Question 10

How do I become a seller?

Accepted Answer

Selling is free to join and every application is reviewed by hand. Linking Discord comes first — applications can't be submitted without it. 1. Link Discord from Dashboard → Link Discord. 2. Apply from the Start Selling page. 3. Once approved, upload your first asset — it goes live after review. 4. Connect Stripe when you publish your first paid asset.

Question 11

What are the seller fees?

Accepted Answer

Asset sales carry a platform fee by plan: Free 10%, Pro 7%, Elite 5%, Max 0% — so you keep 90% to 100% of every sale. Commissions carry a flat 10% fee (5% on Seller Max). No listing fees. Stripe's own processing fee still applies.

Question 12

How do payouts work?

Accepted Answer

Payouts go to your connected Stripe account. Sales build up in your seller balance; request a payout from Seller → Earnings once it reaches your plan's minimum: $50 on Free, $25 on Pro, $10 on Elite and Max. You only need Stripe connected once you sell paid assets or take commissions.

Question 13

How do I get hired through the commission board?

Accepted Answer

Creators are only listed once they opt in. You need an approved seller account, a linked Discord account and a connected payout account; then you accept the commission rules and set a minimum budget of at least $5. Opt in from your store profile. You can pause any time, and you can cap how many commissions you run at once — at capacity you're hidden until a slot frees up.
