Enforcement & Liability
Every download and commission delivery on UEFNMarketplace constitutes a binding license agreement. You explicitly agree to the following when you acquire any asset or deliverable:
No Redistribution or Resale
You may not share, redistribute, resell, sub-license, or make available the downloaded files to any third party, in original or modified form, without explicit written permission from the original seller.
Personal Liability for Damages
Any breach of these license terms makes you personally liable for all resulting damages, including but not limited to: the seller's lost revenue, platform investigation costs, legal fees, and statutory penalties. Damages are not capped.
Account Suspension & Access Revocation
Violators will have their accounts immediately suspended. Access to all purchased and free assets will be permanently revoked. Repeat offenders will be banned from the platform.
Information Disclosure
The platform reserves the right to share your account information (including transaction records and IP logs) with affected sellers for the purpose of pursuing legal enforcement against license violations.
Governing Law
All license agreements are governed by Swedish law. Disputes shall be resolved through Swedish courts or the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) where applicable. The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is also available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Can I use assets in maps that earn money?
Yes! With the UEFN Map Use license (most common), you keep 100% of your island revenue. With Revenue Share, you share a percentage with the seller. Both Personal Use and Sharing Allowed licenses also permit commercial map use.
Which license should I choose as a seller?
UEFN Map Use is recommended for most assets — it's the clearest for buyers who make maps for a living. Use Revenue Share for premium or high-value assets where ongoing compensation makes sense. Use Personal Use if you want maximum restriction, or Sharing Allowed if you want to encourage team adoption.
What's the difference between "UEFN Map Use" and "Personal Use"?
UEFN Map Use explicitly covers monetized Fortnite islands and makes revenue rights crystal clear. Personal Use is a broader, more restrictive license that works for any project but doesn't explicitly address island monetization terms.
How does Revenue Share work in practice?
The seller sets a percentage (e.g. 5%) on the asset page. By purchasing, you agree to share that portion of net island revenue from maps that use the asset. Payment terms are arranged between buyer and seller. The platform does not currently enforce collection automatically.
Can I modify assets?
Yes, all license types allow modification for use in your projects. However, you cannot sell modified versions as standalone assets.
What happens if I violate the license?
License violations may result in revocation of access to purchased assets, account suspension, and potential legal action in serious cases.
